Great product for the value. Only disappointment is the length of time it took for me to receive it. Would be great if they made one with colors that were boy specific too!

This was a great for about six months…then quit working completely. Very disappointing. Amazon would not replace the item, stating their guarantee is only for 30 days. $60 is a lot of money for a speaker that is only guaranteed to work for 30 days!

I have a 4th generation Nano, and have had trouble finding a speaker dock that is compatible (one that charges and plays music). I was excited when I saw this one on Amazon, because it is shown with the same type of iPod that I have. I just received this item today, and to my dismay it does NOT come with a dock adapter for the 4th generation Nano. Is it too much to ask iHome to include an adapter that fits the iPod actually depicted on the box? You wouldn’t think so, but I guess I was wrong. In short I give this an average of 3 stars (5 for the sound quality, 1 for the fact that they are too cheap to put the correct dock adapter in the box). ETA: I found that the white plastic adapter than Apple includes with the Nano will fit this speaker system. Luckily I still had it tucked away in a drawer…

This little box has a great sound for how small it is and is very convenient.

I loved my last ipod speaker dock but when I received the 5G nano last Christmas, my old dock didn’t charge it. I’m terrible at remembering to charge, so I started looking for a new dock. Finally settled on this one. Here’s what you need to know:
It holds my nano strongly and charges it.
The sound is pretty good, though the speakers are located on the sides, so it could be better.
The lights are fine — a little gimmicky but whatever. You can also turn them off.
It comes with several ipod base adapters, so that’s nice.
It’s a good size–5 1/2″ cube.
Overall, it’s the right thing for me. I don’t really need a remote or a portable device, so I’m satisfied.
